Most budgeting apps look backward: they categorize what you already spent. CashWard looks forward — projecting your balance day by day so a tight week is visible weeks before it arrives, not after your account is already low.
Features
See your projected balance from today forward — 30 days, 90 days, or a full year — with every upcoming payday, bill, subscription renewal, and debt payment already factored in. CashWard flags exactly when and why your balance would dip below your own safety threshold.
Salary, hourly shifts, contract work, or several of these at once — CashWard handles multiple jobs and multiple people in one household without flattening everything into a single monthly guess.
Payroll estimates are calculated from the CRA's own published T4127 formulas — federal and provincial tax, CPP/CPP2, and EI. A combined Tax Position screen brings every income source's withholding together, so you know well before filing season where you stand. (Quebec payroll isn't supported yet — CashWard says so plainly rather than guessing.)
Track recurring bills and subscriptions, see them alongside your paydays on a real calendar, and compare budgeted vs. actual spending by category. Optionally sync upcoming items to Apple Calendar.
Compare avalanche, snowball, minimum-only, or your own custom payoff order across every debt at once, with real projected payoff dates and total interest.
Add accounts manually, or import a CSV, OFX, or QFX statement export from your bank. CashWard never connects to your bank directly and never asks for banking credentials.
Everything you enter is stored on your own device. There's no account to create, no server, and no analytics or advertising tracking of any kind. Optional Face ID/Touch ID app lock uses your device's own authentication — CashWard never sees it.
